Today, April 12, 2026, SANURA proves this once again with the inauguration of a solar-powered borehole<\/strong> in the locality of Dimori (Bassar)<\/strong>, in northern Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Borehole Entirely Powered by Solar Energy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the generous funding of Human Development Fund (HDF)<\/strong> , SANURA has completed a vital infrastructure project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • A borehole (deep well)<\/strong> reaching clean water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A solar plaque (photovoltaic panels)<\/strong> powering the water pump<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A water distribution point<\/strong> accessible to the entire community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    For years, the inhabitants of Dimori, particularly women and children, have faced a daily ordeal: walking long distances to fetch water from unsafe sources, exposed to waterborne diseases and loss of productive time. The new solar-powered borehole provides clean, accessible, and free water<\/strong> throughout the day, without electricity costs and without carbon emissions. By choosing solar energy, SANURA affirms its commitment to two essential battles<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
