Lom\u00e9 joue notamment un r\u00f4le dans le processus de m\u00e9diation destin\u00e9 \u00e0 favoriser une solution n\u00e9goci\u00e9e \u00e0 la crise dans l\u2019est de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo et dans la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En juin dernier, une r\u00e9union semestrielle organis\u00e9e \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 avait permis de d\u00e9finir de nouvelles orientations pour le second semestre 2026 et de renforcer la coordination entre les diff\u00e9rents acteurs impliqu\u00e9s dans le processus. En septembre, depuis New York, l\u2019Organisation des Nations unies et l\u2019Union africaine ont \u00e9galement r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 leur soutien \u00e0 la m\u00e9diation togolaise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le Togo porte \u00e9galement la question de la repr\u00e9sentation cartographique de l\u2019Afrique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur un autre front, la diplomatie togolaise s\u2019est illustr\u00e9e avec la r\u00e9solution <strong>\u00ab Correct the Map \u00bb<\/strong>, adopt\u00e9e le 4 septembre 2026 par l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations unies avec 164 voix favorables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le texte encourage le recours \u00e0 des projections cartographiques offrant une repr\u00e9sentation plus fid\u00e8le des superficies des continents, notamment la projection <strong>Equal Earth<\/strong>. Pour Lom\u00e9, l\u2019adoption de cette r\u00e9solution constitue une \u00e9tape importante dans la promotion d\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation plus juste de l\u2019Afrique sur les cartes du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Togo entend d\u00e9sormais contribuer \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de cette r\u00e9solution, dans le prolongement de son engagement sur les questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la repr\u00e9sentation de l\u2019Afrique dans les espaces multilat\u00e9raux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre m\u00e9diation, d\u00e9fense des int\u00e9r\u00eats africains et promotion d\u2019une meilleure repr\u00e9sentation du continent, la diplomatie togolaise multiplie ainsi les initiatives sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale.
