Une comm\u00e9moration, ou plut\u00f4t une continuation du combat pr\u00e9cisent les organisateurs, qui craignent un recul du droit des Noirs, notamment en mati\u00e8re de violences polici\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

60 ans apr\u00e8s le \u00ab r\u00eave \u00bb de Martin Luther King, Joshua se prom\u00e8ne au milieu de la foule au pied du Lincoln Memorial de Wahsington<\/a><\/strong>, avec une affiche repr\u00e9sentant des photos d\u2019hommes noirs tu\u00e9s par la police. Beaucoup de ces noms sont aujourd\u2019hui c\u00e9l\u00e8bres aux \u00c9tats-Unis : George Floyd, \u00c9ric Gardner ou encore Michael Brown, mais d\u2019autres le sont moins comme celui de son oncle tu\u00e9 lui aussi par la police. Pour Joshua, 44 ans, cette brutalit\u00e9 polici\u00e8re prouve que le combat de Martin Luther King est loin d\u2019\u00eatre termin\u00e9 : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le combat continue et j\u2019ai l\u2019impression que le syst\u00e8me n\u2019a pas tant chang\u00e9 que cela. Parce que, que tu sois lynch\u00e9 au bout d\u2019une corde ou tu\u00e9 par une balle de la police, dans les deux cas, t\u2019es mort.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les violences polici\u00e8res sont ici dans tous les esprits. Un jour ou l\u2019autre, tout parent afro-am\u00e9ricain doit avoir cette discussion avec ses enfants sur la police. Cela s\u2019appelle \u00ab The Talk \u00bb dans la communaut\u00e9, comme l\u2019explique Gary, venu de New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Oui quand j\u2019\u00e9tais petit j\u2019ai eu la discussion. La premi\u00e8re chose qu\u2019on te dit c\u2019est<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0bouge pas !\u00a0\u00bb. Parce que si tu bouges, t\u2019es un homme mort. Les flics ils tirent d\u2019abord et ils posent les questions apr\u00e8s. On a grandi avec \u00e7a. C\u2019est quelque chose qu\u2019on doit apprendre \u00e0 nos jeunes.
