Ramadan 2026: A Heartwarming Start to the Holy Month, Food Aid & Iftar Distribution with Humanipedia

Guided by this profound Hadith, SANURA Association kicked off the first weekend of Ramadan 2026 with an overwhelming wave of generosity and solidarity. Thanks to the invaluable financial support of our partner, Humanipedia, a humanitarian association based in Belgium, we were able to launch a large-scale operation to support families in need during this blessed month.

Ensuring Dignified Fasts with Food Aid

In a powerful act of community support, hundred bags of rice were distributed across several neighborhoods. The mission was clear: to allow every household to fast with peace of mind, free from the worry of having enough provisions for the evening meal. This tangible action, made possible by the dedication of volunteers, reached families who often face the difficult choice between essential expenses and the quality of their Iftar meal.

1,000 Iftars Distributed at the Moment of Breaking the Fast

The generosity extended beyond dry food supplies. In a true partnership of the heart, Humanipedia also donated 1,000 hot meals (Iftar). These meals were transported and distributed in various neighborhoods precisely at sunset, the moment of breaking the fast. Witnessing the joy and gratitude in the eyes of the fasting, whether they were workers on their way home or elderly individuals who could break their fast with dignity, was undoubtedly the most beautiful moment of this weekend.
