SANURA Association Launches Free Housing Construction Project in Amaoudè

The canton of Amaoudè, located in the commune of Tchaoudjo 3, marks the launch of the ambitious free social housing construction project initiated by the SANURA Association.
This important event took place on May 31, 2025, in the canton of Amaoudè.

This highly social initiative is part of a broader vision of solidarity and local development. It is led by the SANURA Association and financed by its partner ABDULLAH AID, with the goal of providing decent housing to underprivileged families in the area.

ABDULLAH AID, a UK-based humanitarian foundation sharing the same values as SANURA, works to implement sustainable initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and promoting community self-reliance.

As part of this project, 20 modern and fully equipped homes will be constructed to offer improved living conditions.

Main Features of the Homes :

  • 15 m² bedroom + veranda + fitted kitchen
  • Modern and internal sanitary facilities
  • Solar panel for electricity
  • Access to potable water in each home

These infrastructures will allow selected beneficiaries — chosen based on collaborative criteria defined by SANURA and local authorities — to live in a healthy and secure environment, while reducing their dependence on non-renewable energy sources.

A Project of Solidarity and Sustainability

Representatives of SANURA and ABDULLAH AID have expressed their strong commitment to continue carrying out such initiatives to support the most vulnerable populations in other regions of the country.
